An exciting year for Comestibles with the release of the 2008 Events Calendar.

The first initiative to be launched this year is a Series of Performances at the John Inverarity Music and Drama Centre. The Joint Venture between the State-of-the-Art venue and Comestibles offers the corporate sector a unique opportunity to entertain their clients in an evening of World-Class Music Performances and a Cocktail-style function.

Spice Magazine launches its 2008 Autumn Edition on March 1. Comestibles will feature in a Food & Wine matching article with recipes for Cocktail-Food Pieces Designed by our Chef, Marcus Hollier.

The new Picnic Menu has undergone extensive research and trials to become a delicious offering for outdoor dinners. Our tasty menu options are coupled with a beverage selection and the inclusion of the practical necessities of Alfresco Dining.

On Monday, March 31, Faith Nichols is hosting a Foodies’ Dinner at Comestibles. This event is part of the City Food & Wine month and is a natural progression of past series’ of the Professional Development Cooking Workshops. “The Dinner Under the Stars” aims to invite a community dialogue between Industry Professional and the general public about food, wine and Perth’s place in the gastronomic world.

The Comestibles team is anticipating Polo in the City to gain momentum in 2008 with our office already receiving inquiries. This event was a great success in December 2007 with the Perth leg of the event rated as ”much more edible then Sydney’s offering”. Comestibles will issue updates as details become available.
